In this book, I have tried to touch the tip of the iceberg on what happens when AI becomes your BOSS.

AI is getting into a different league and AI has already entered the board room for making decision which have impact on people, but if said in a fancy term is called as AI based decision making. If AI is already influencing decision making which has impact on every aspect of life, then idea of reporting to an AI boss is not at all futuristic, but for some companies, this is already a reality.

So, what does an AI led workplace look like? Just think about receiving your tasks, performance feedback, and even career advice through an AI driven system. Unlike human managers, AI can process vast amounts of data, spot trends, and make quick, data driven decisions. These systems have the potential to create fairer workplaces by removing biases that sometimes come with human managers.

AI can boost productivity and efficiency with type of leadership, but there are still questions about whether it can truly replace the human side of leadership. Can an AI inspire or motivate people? Will it understand the team dynamics or offer genuine empathy in challenging situations?

As of now, AI ability to lead is limited to optimizing schedules and providing data driven feedback, leaving areas like emotional intelligence and mentorship as human strengths. For human to thrive in an AI managed workplace, we all should focus on skills that complement AI. These include creativity, adaptability, problem solving, and emotional intelligence.

As we look to the future, we have an opportunity to shape the relationship between AI and leadership. This isn’t about fearing the rise of AI; it’s about preparing to work alongside it in ways that enhance productivity, improve fairness, and foster more fulfilling careers. The key will be finding a balance where humans and AI each contribute their unique strengths to build better workplaces.
